Feed My Starving Children seeks volunteers

Feed My Starving Children, a Christian hunger relief organization, invites volunteers of all ages to help pack meals for worldwide distribution. Volunteer meal-packers are needed from May through August at three locations: 742 E. Park Ave., Libertyville; 555 Exchange Court, Aurora; and, 1072 National Parkway, Schaumburg. Volunteers age 5 and older can participate in two-hour meal packing shifts at FMSC and learn about world hunger and pack nutritious meals. At the end of a lively, assembly line-style packing session, volunteers celebrate the "grand total" of meals packed and children who are helped. The meals are shipped to one of nearly 70 nations, where they become fuel for community development in schools, orphanages, clinics and feeding programs. FMSC also partners with local churches, schools and organizations to hold community-hosted events throughout the U.S. Visit FMSC.org/volunteer.
