Wauconda library raises funds with 3rd annual Bunny Hop

The Friends of the Wauconda Area Library and STAR Charities held their 3rd annual Bunny Hop on Saturday.

A 4-mile race kicked off from the library at 9 a.m., with runners traveling around Bangs Lake and finishing in Cook Park on Main Street.

A two-mile fun run/walk and a new kids run followed the main race. Participants enjoyed entertainment, refreshments and an awards ceremony.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to the library.
