Metea Valley 3, Larkin 2:

Jack Szott pitched a 3-hitter with 9 strikeouts and no earned runs as the Mustangs (5-4, 3-2) held on for the Upstate Eight Conference victory. Andy See went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI.

Waubonsie Valley 6, Geneva 5:

Ryan Jones smacked a one-out RBI single in the bottom of the seventh to give the Warriors (6-3, 2-1) the walk-off Upstate Eight Conference victory. Ben Vietri went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI. Garret Howicz also drove in 2 runs. Nick Drago won in relief of Jack Eddy.

Neuqua Valley 10, St. Charles East 9:

The Wildcats (3-7, 2-3) won a wild one in the Upstate Eight Conference by rallying for 3 run in the bottom of the sixth inning. Matt Gould went 3-for-4 with 3 RBI while Mike Riesner and Tyler Tesmond doubled twice. Logan Vlk pitched a scoreless seventh to pick up the win.

Lake Park 9, Naperville Central 7:

The Lancers (4-5, 1-1) won the DuPage Valley Conference game by scoring twice in the top of the eighth inning. Anthony Gallina, Ken Schutz and Dom Fallico had 2 hits while Ethan Schulz drove in 3 runs. Luke Daley went 2-for-3 with a homer for Naperville Central (6-6, 1-1).

Naperville North 9, Glenbard North 8:

The Huskies (5-4, 1-1) scored twice in the top of the seventh while rallying to the DuPage Valley Conference victory. Mike Laurenzo went 2-for-3 with a home run while Ryan Krainz went 3-for-4 with 3 RBI and Sam Siebers went 3-for-3 with 2 RBI. Ryan Fitch won in relief. Nolan Jasinski and Alex Barrett had 3 hits for Glenbard North (7-5, 1-1). Eric Orze drove in 3 runs.

Wheaton North 13, WW South 3:

A 4-run top of the fourth put the Falcons (5-6, 1-1) ahead to stay as they evened up the DuPage Valley Conference series at a win apiece. Zach Leander went 2-for-4 with 4 RBI. Mike Muto went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI while Zach Colangelo had 2 hits and 3 RBI. Winning pitcher Charles Robin struck out seven in 6 innings. Ben Flores and Eric Giltz had 2 hits for WW South (3-4, 1-1).

Willowbrook 8, Oak Park 5:

Trailing 5-0 heading to the top of the seventh, the Warriors (9-2) scored 8 runs to stun the Huskies in the West Suburban Conference crossover. Brian Johnson went 2-for-4 with a homer. Mike Rothmund and Trey Jones also had 2 hits. Jake Cady drove in 2 runs.

Glenbard West 9, Morton 3:

Will Simoneit and Drew Vogg each had 3 hits and combined for 5 RBI in the West Suburban Conference crossover win for the Hilltoppers (8-3). Jared Crane was the complete-game winning pitcher.

Wheaton Academy 7, Chicago Christian 5:

The Warriors (4-7, 1-4) broke out to a 5-0 lead after two innings in their Suburban Christian Conference victory. Winning pitcher Luke Kram went 2-for-4 with a homer and 2 RBI.

Batavia 9, West Chicago 6:

Austin Kordik went 3-for-4 with 2 runs scored for the Wildcats (6-4, 2-3) in the Upstate Eight Conference loss. Connor Dall and Peyton Seidler had 2 hits apiece. Losing pitcher Fred Gosbeth went the distance.

Lyons Twp. 4, Addison Trail 2:

The Blazers (1-10) fell in the West Suburban Conference crossover despite 2-for-3 efforts from Joe Kurucar and Frank Amato.

York 5, Downers South 4:

The Dukes (6-6) scored on a bases-loaded error in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the West Suburban Conference crossover. Anthony Santos hit a solo home run while Nolan Spencer and Brian Peterson had 2 hits apiece. Kyle May went 3-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI for Downers South (5-3).

West Aurora 3, Glenbard East 0:

Joey Moore went 2-for-3 for the Rams (7-6, 1-1) in their DuPage Valley Conference loss.

Hinsdale Central 7, Leyden 1:

Mark Dykstra went 3-for-3 and Ryan Haff and Matt Muellner had 2 hits apiece in the West Suburban Conference crossover victory for the Red Devils (6-8).
