Palatine powers ahead

The top goal producer for Fremd (9-13, 3-4) was Luke Stark with 5.

Barrington 10, Conant 9: The Broncos (13-3, 5-2) stayed 2 games back of Palatine in the MSL West race with a 1-goal decision against the Cougars (5-7, 3-4).

Schaumburg 18, Hoffman Estates 6: James Birriel led the way with 4 goals as the Saxons (6-10, 2-4) notched their second MSL West win.

Buffalo Grove 14, Elk Grove 7: The visiting Bison improved to 8-9 overall and 4-3 in the MSL East.

Wheeling 8, Prospect 6: The Wildcats' victory gives MSL East leader a little breathing room as Prospect suffered its second divisional loss. The Wildcats improved to 9-12 overall and 4-3 in the East, while the Knights fell to 8-3 and 5-2. Hersey leads the East with a 6-0 record and is 12-2 overall.
