Hoffman Estates Improvement Day April 26

Hoffman Estates Village Improvement day returns this month. To prepare open spaces for spring enjoyment, the Hoffman Estates Sustainability Commission is sponsoring the event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 26.

The village has identified various parks and natural areas for cleanup activities. Work will be limited to litter collection, and the village will be supplying collection bags. Commission members will be on hand to assist volunteers.

The event will begin at 9 a.m. at the Sears Centre Arena, 5333 Prairie Stone Parkway. Following the group activity, participants can turn toward home and finish the event at their neighborhood park. Participants should dress appropriately.
