Emergency preparedness class

As spring begins so too does the severe weather season, making emergency preparedness a priority in West Chicago.

The West Chicago Citizen Corps is offering another Community Emergency Response Training seven-week course from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays starting April 29 at West Chicago Fire Protection District headquarters, 200 Fremont St., West Chicago.

Participants must be at least 18 years old, and either live or work in the city of West Chicago or the West Chicago Fire Protection District.
