Man found dead in state park fell to his death
KANKAKEE, Ill. - An autopsy shows a 40-year-old man whose body was found in a northern Illinois state park fell to his death, plummeting more than 35 feet to the ground.
The (Kankakee) Daily Journal reported final results of the autopsy on Joel Brueggert won't be available until toxicology tests are completed.
The Herscher resident's body was found Monday afternoon in Kankakee River State Park near a creek by the park's main entrance.
An autopsy was performed Tuesday.
