Multi-chamber family expo:

The 4th Multi-Chamber Annual Spring Extreme Block Party Family Expo & Taste is set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at the Libertyville Sports Complex, Peterson Road and Route 45. The event features more than 100 local vendors spanning home improvement, health/wellness, fitness, automotive, financial/insurance, entertainment venues, community groups, and others. The Illinois State Treasurer Cash Dash will be on-site for visitors to search the state's unclaimed property database for money or property that may belong to them. Food samples will be served by several local restaurants, and Dave Dinaso's Traveling World of Reptiles Show will entertain at noon. Wellness screenings will be available. Attendees can enter to win a $500 gift certificate from Steinhafels Furniture and there also will be raffles, giveaways, prizes and product demonstrations. Parking and admission are free.
