Dempster joins WAYS board
Kate Dempster of Winfield has joined the board of directors of Wayne/Winfield Area Youth/Family Services.
She joins the board in their 31st year of being a not-for-profit United Way social service agency serving the communities of West Chicago, Winfield, Warrenville, Wayne, Bartlett, Hanover Park, and Carol Stream.
Dempster, an attorney who works for Traub, Lieberman, Straus & Shrewsberry LLP law firm in Chicago, brings experience in insurance and employment law to WAYS.
She is directing the fundraising campaign for the WAYS' team at the April 26 Human Race Run/Walk in Downers Grove and working with WAYS' board on the April 15 annual Luncheon/Silent Auction at WAYS.
