Danny Spinnuza's 1-hitter over 6 innings in the opener sparked the Mustangs (3-1, 2-0) to the West Suburban Gold sweep. Matt Zinnecker got the save and drove in 2 runs in Game 2. Joe Amato went 2-for-3 in the second game for Addison Trail (1-4, 0-2).
Notre Dame 7-7, Lake Park 2-9:
Game 2 winning pitcher Anthony Gallina went 2-for-3 in the victory with a double and 2 RBI for Lake Park (2-2). Kenny Schutz and Devin Rybacki each went 3-for-5 while Brandon Popp drove in 3 runs. Steve Joyce picked up the save.
Willowbrook 29-16, Proviso East 0-0:
Tyler Zunkel and Mike Rothmund drove in 4 runs apiece in the opener of the West Suburban Gold sweep by the Warriors (3-1, 2-0). Luke Schuemer had 3 hits and 3 RBI in the second game while Rothmund homered. T.J. Case and Jake Cady were the winning pitchers.
Oak Park 6-2, York 1-8:
Anthony Santos was the complete-game winning pitcher for the Dukes (1-5, 1-1) in Game 2 of the West Suburban Silver split. Santos also went 2-for-4 with a home run and 3 RBI in the second game. Seth Dvorak added a homer and 3 RBI while Kyle Coughlin went 4-for-4.

Ben Vietri went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI for the Warriors (3-1).
