Hanover Township to host health screenings

Hanover Township will offer health screenings from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 11 to test for heart defects, osteoporosis and other illnesses.

Life Line Screening will conduct the tests for small fees at the township's Senior Center, 240 S. Route 59, Bartlett.

"This is a great opportunity for residents to take advantage of screenings that are not typically offered," township Community Health Director Kristen Smith said. "Early detection is really the key to prevention."

Organizers also say the screenings can show health problems often before symptoms arise.

To register, call Life Line Screening at (888) 653-6450.
