Sex offender arrested in Mundelein

A registered sex offender was arrested Monday after he was spotted near a Mundelein school, police said.
Howard Sebring, 55, of the 300 block of West Main Street in Hainesville, was charged with being a child sex offender in a school zone.
Sebring was arrested about 2:30 p.m. after he was seen near Washington School, 122 S. Garfield Ave.
Sebring appeared in bond court Tuesday.
No other details were available.
