The skinny: The Blackhawks are heading into Boston at a dangerous time because the Bruins are red-hot. Before a 2-1 shootout loss Monday, Boston had won 12 straight. Couple that with the memory of the last time the Blackhawks came to town, they left with the ultimate hardware … and the Hawks figure to have their hands full on the first of back-to-back road games. Coach Joel Quenneville hinted he might split up the goaltending duties between Corey Crawford and Antti Raanta Thursday and Friday.

Next: Ottawa Senators at Canadian Tire Centre, 6:30 p.m. Friday
