A Safe Place fundraiser:
The Young Professional Board of A Safe Place invite you to the Spring Craft Beer Tasting event on April 5 from 2 to 5 p.m. at GreenTown Tavern, 110 S. Genesee St., Waukegan. All proceeds benefit the services and programs offered by A Safe Place to victims of domestic violence. Each ticket includes eight beer samples, food, music and fun. In 2013, A Safe Place provided protective and life-changing programs and services to more than 2,800 adult and child survivors of domestic violence. It is Lake County's only nonprofit organization exclusively dedicated to victims of domestic abuse.
