Schaumburg Boomers looking for host families
The Schaumburg Boomers baseball team is searching for Northwest suburban families to become part of the club's host family program, housing a player for the summer and getting free season tickets along with other great perks.
Families are asked to provide a separate, private bedroom and bathroom for their hosted player. All other arrangements are up to the players themselves. In exchange for participating, host families receive two season tickets for 2014 - which includes invitations to season ticket holder exclusive events and discounts at the ballpark.
Those interested should visit boomersbaseball.com and fill out the application on the host families page found under the "Clubhouse" heading.
