Candidate's record of lowering taxes

In an election that has multiple people running for the same position, it can be hard to find what differences there are between the candidates. All of the candidates in the 65th House District are conservative, but one stands out above the rest, Steve Andersson.

I have worked with Steve professionally for almost 20 years, and his integrity is unparalleled.

As treasurer of the Geneva Library Board, Steve actually oversaw the library board lower their tax levy, almost unheard of in these times. With important votes coming up in the next year, it is important that we elect a representative with a record of lowering taxes.

This means allowing the 66 percent tax hike to expire and voting against the progressive income tax. That leader is Steve Andersson, and that is why I will be voting for him on March 18.
