League supports Glenbard vote

The League of Women Voters strongly encourages all registered voters to go to the polls and exercise their right to vote in the March 18 General Primary Election.

Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. For more information, go to the DuPage County Election Commission website (http://www.dupageco.org/election/) or call them at (630) 407-5600.

Additionally, the League of Women Voters of Glen Ellyn urges you to vote "yes" on the Glenbard High School District 87 referendum appearing on this election's ballot. The LWVGE supports this initiative, which asks for funds for much needed infrastructure repairs and updates at all four high schools. The proposal is for the issuance of $35 million in bonds. This proposal will not increase the property tax rate because it extends the length of bond payments.

The League of Women Voters of Glen Ellyn, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
