Candidate will bring vision and new ideas

In the Bible, although not popular and rarely quoted in public today, Jesus said, "By their fruits you will know them." That's why I am supporting Peter Breen.

Breen has shown by his choices in life and his accomplishments in public service that he will represent the common interest of all his constituents and is beholden to none.

When wealth, power and special interests seem to be the driving force behind many of those in public office today, Peter Breen is about serving.

A young, passionate, nationally noted attorney from the next door village of Lombard, Breen has been taking his message of government reform door-to-door throughout the district.

Breen has brought renewed economic strength to Lombard as a village trustee and has, according to local news coverage, fought hard to keep the town honest on all fronts.

Professionally, he's even worked to hold the federal government accountable, Breen was instrumental in bringing elements of the recent IRS scandal to light and had clients testifying before Congress.

Breen is a savvy and well-spoken leader. I'm impressed with Breen's achievements to date: he excelled in getting a top notch education, delivered a strong municipal service record, founded two not-for-profit help centers, and currently serves at the executive level in a nation public interest law firm. On top of that he was an Eagle Scout.

He is ready and very much up to the task of challenging the status quo goal of "continued work," He is going to lead, bring much needed new vision and ideas to a stagnant state legislature.

Breen will not only be an excellent representative for the 48th District, he will be good for all of Illinois.
