Candidate never voted Republican

Allow me to get the record straight. Republican candidate, 8th Congressional District, Manju Goel and her special interest super PAC, Indian Americans for Freedom, have taken her campaign against Larry Kaifesh straight into the gutter.

They have engaged in a program to spread lies and negativity to try to take Kaifesh, the campaign, and Republican leaders in the district down. Instead of attempting to campaign on the issues, qualifications, and achievements, they have chosen the negative track since they need to cover up the fact that Ms. Goel does not live in the 8th District and has never voted Republican.

First, they attacked Kaifesh's residency, even though he was born at Sherman Hospital in Elgin, grew up in Carpentersville, and graduated Dundee-Crown High School. He has been serving his country in the Marine Corps for the last 23 years, and since 9/11, have deployed five times to Iraq and Afghanistan. When he has not been deployed as a Marine, he has lived in the Illinois' 8th Congressional District. Goel should know better.

The day Kaifesh announced his candidacy, he had attended the Diwali Festival of Lights at BAPS in Bartlett, celebrated India Republic Day in Rolling Meadows, and spent his Valentine's Day at India House, in Schaumburg, with his dear friends celebrating Indian culture. It is significant to note that the Indian American Republican Organization has endorsed Kaifesh unanimously.

Also, Goel has refused repeated invitations for a debate. She will not even return calls to the media, seeking her comments on the campaign.

Larry Kaifesh has served his country most all of his life and is committed to bringing honest leadership and selfless service to you and the country to Congress.
