Taxes go down if park vote defeated

The Huntley Park District is grabbing for $18.75 of your real estate taxes. I have spoken with very many people about the upcoming referendum by the Huntley Park District. Almost without exception they plan to vote against it.

The one exception was a person whose grandchildren make use of the field house in Schaumburg.

In the polling booth you may vote against it and be with the majority. Of course, you are entitled to vote for it if that is your decision. I have only one request: please do not pick a "Yes" vote on the basis that your taxes will not go up. They will go down substantially if this proposition is defeated.
