Pet vaccination clinic:

The Lake County Health Department/Community Health Center's Animal Care and Control Program offers a pet vaccination clinic Saturday, March 15, from 9 a.m. to noon at Fremont Township Center, 22385 W. Highway 60, Mundelein. The clinic is held in conjunction with the 4-H, and members are offering nail trims for a $5 donation. For spayed/neutered pets, the cost is $20 for one-year rabies vaccination and Lake County tag; $25 for one-year rabies vaccination, tag and distemper; $10 for distemper complex only; $15 for microchip. For pets not spayed/neutered, the cost is $60 for one-year rabies vaccination and Lake County tag; $65 for one-year rabies vaccination, tag and distemper; $10 for distemper complex only; $15 for microchip. Pets taken on a first-come, first-served basis. All animals brought must be at least 4 months old. Dogs must be leashed and cats placed in carriers. Only cash will be accepted.
