Donation helps St. Norbert College

DE PERE, Wis. (AP) - A donation from the estate of a Green Bay business leader is helping St. Norbert College start a new college of business.

WLUK-TV reports the estate of Donald Schneider has donated $7 million to the De Pere school. The former CEO of Schneider National Inc. died in 2012.

The school plans to create a School of Business and Economics, two undergraduate programs currently housed in the college of letters and sciences and a Masters of Business Administration program.

Enrollment will be limited to 30 to 35 students in the inaugural MBA class.

The two-year MBA program is expected to start in fall 2015.

St. Norbert College President Tom Kunkel says he expects the expansion to benefit people who have been out of college for several years.
