New signs in Elk Grove business park

New traffic signs - including "Stop," "Yield" and "No Parking" - are being installed in Elk Grove Village's business park.

The fabrication and installation of about 340 signs represents the third and final phase of a sign enhancement project within the business park. The village board this week voted to approve a $232,212 contract with Woodridge-based Western Remac, Inc. to complete the work, which includes new signs and poles that conform to federal height requirements. The final phase has been delayed by weather, village officials said.

The new signs will be installed in an area bounded by Landmeier Road on the north, Busse Road on the west, Thorndale Avenue on the south and Elmhurst Road on the east.
