Judge to sentence Wisconsin man in sexual assault
MADISON, Wis. - A judge is set to sentence a Madison man convicted of sexually assaulting his starving stepsister and a 15-year-old girl.
The 20-year-old man's now 17-year-old stepsister told police her father and her stepmother kept her locked in their basement for five years and starved her down to 68 pounds. She said her stepbrother tried to have sex with her when he was 13 and later forced her to perform oral sex on him.
A jury convicted the man on two sexual assault charges and a child abuse count this month.
He pleaded guilty in July to another sexual assault charge after prosecutors accused him of having sex with a 15-year-old girl.
The man faces up to 146 years in prison when Judge Julie Genovese sentences him Wednesday.
