Mark Trail needs to clean up act a bit

I feel compelled to write to you on behalf of the comic strip, Mark Trail. I have been a reader of Mark Trail for about a year now. Although I have enjoyed reading the strip both weekdays and weekends, I am concerned about the sometimes negative and violent nature of the Mark Trail comic strip.

The creator of Mark Trail does a wonderful job on Sundays informing both adults and children alike about various animal and nature facts. During the week, however, I have noticed that some of the strips tend to depict fighting, guns, and the usage of inappropriate language. I feel that Mr. Elrod needs to take into consideration the contradictory message he sends to his readers, especially children. If we want to strive to make our world a better place, we need to keep it clean and fun all week long.
