Read the entire book of Leviticus

I must disagree with Theodore Utchen in regard to God's view of gay marriage. He quoted Leviticus 20:13 in the Old Testament in his letter of Feb 16. Christians are under the New Testament and Jesus is our savior where the subject is not mentioned at all.

If we go back and start living our lives according to the Old Testament, let's not pick and choose what we like to apply today and what we do not want to apply today.

Did he read other scriptures in Leviticus? Leviticus 20:9 says, "For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be put to death. Leviticus 20:10 says, "That the man that commits adultery should also be put to death."

People for many years have used the Bible to push their views. Many years ago people believed it was approved by God to have slaves because in the Bible so many of God's people had slaves and that God never said it was wrong.

The God I believe in created all people and people do not choose their sexual orientation or the color of their skin or what nationality they are born.

Sorry, God does not teach us to kill homosexuals as the letter said. Go back and read the entire book of Leviticus and then you will see God sent his son for all mankind because we are all sinners and hopefully you will see that our God is a God of love and not a God of hate.
