Conant fetes champion cheerleaders

Conant High School Friday held a pep rally to celebrate its team winning the Illinois High School Association state coed cheerleading championship last Saturday in Bloomington.

The cheerleaders at the Hoffman Estates school ran through their winning routine for the student body, and members of the squad presented school Principal Tim Cannon with the plaque and trophy marking their successful season.
