District 50 bilingual meeting:

Woodland Elementary District 50 hosts its third Bilingual Parent Advisory Council meeting of the year at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 12, at the Woodland Elementary East School cafeteria, 17261 W. Gages Lake Road, Gages Lake. Parents of English as a Second Language (ESL) students and bilingual students are invited to attend. The topics will include information about summer school, Spanish language arts, kindergarten registration and ACCESS testing (Assessing Comprehension and Communication in English State-to-State for English language learners). Childcare will be provided. Information will be discussed in Spanish and English, but parents of all language backgrounds are invited to attend.
