Battle of the plows on Walden Drive
As another pile of snow settled, and the welcome sound of village snowplows were heard clearing our street. Then came our association’s plow to do some 30 driveways on the street. Before he was done, the village plows arrived again, and snow was blown into half of the driveways when it could have been blown in another direction.
Now, in this lousy weather, opinions run in high numbers and tempers run higher, but after two village plows disappeared from one side street, a single plow redid each driveway before moving onto do another association’s driveways, for the first time, or perhaps the second.
I don’t know if there is a structure in place, a Robert’s Rules of plowing, but winter isn’t over, and something very unfair happened on Walden Drive today.
