Letting government think for us

Never in my 74 years did I ever imagine my country being as it is today.

Congress has become irrelevant because of the massive unconstitutional executive orders Obama has originated. The Senate has become a rubber stamp for the White House. The House pretends to oppose, but if the House and the Senate were put together, shaken up and poured out, one could not tell the difference between them.

It's now known the White House originated the cover-up of the attack on Benghazi. Four Americans dead. As Hillary said, "What difference does it make?" Very few people care. Ditto the NSA, IRS scandals.

Obama blatantly lied to us knowing it will never be researched nor covered by the press, unless of course it has the blessings of the White House.

We cannot express what we believe to be right or wrong, sin or not sin, for fear it will be labeled hate speech. It has entered our everyday lives and even our churches. Hello Socialism, Hello Communism. Goodbye free speech and our Constitution.

The motto of the Daily Herald is, "Fear God, tell the truth, and make money." Fearing God is passe, the truth is whatever the AP says the truth is. Making money is more important than both fearing God and telling the truth.

Goodbye freedom, goodbye individualism, hello government dependency.

We have done an admirable job of letting our government think for us.

You and I let it happen.
