Don't rush to judge in NC killings

When the tragic news of the killing of three Muslim students in Chapel Hill broke, a lot of speculations were being thrown out.

Some Muslims said that the killer was a hateful terrorist, and others called it an unfortunate but unintended crime, while his wife stated that Craig Hicks believed in equality for all. and her attorney said that it was just a man frustrated day in day out over parking spots.

During this moment of tragedy it is easy to jump to conclusion all too soon. The victims' families and the others have the right to question the real motive of the killings. However, this is the time to exercise patience and control over our emotions.

As we watch the case unfold we should hope that the resolution honestly serves the victims and their families, and that the criminal gets the retribution he truly deserves. This is what a Muslim living in America comes here for - equality, justice, and freedom of religion
