Don't repeat mistake replacing Breuder
The front page of the Feb. 21 Daily Herald features an article detailing 10 major complaints that COD's 306 full time faculty members had with President Robert Breuder's leadership as far back as last September. The report also called for Breuder's immediate resignation.
When not a few or even several, but 306 professional educators find a leader so lacking in the skills necessary to lead and direct the day to day operations of the college, the questions that arise are why and how did this man ever get hired in the first place. It seems that an investigation might need to be instituted to insure the same mistakes are not made in the search and hiring process of Breuder's eventual replacement.
Perhaps more administrators besides Mr. Breuder need to be shown the door before another such hiring decision costs DuPage County taxpayers another $762,868 buyout.
