Not looking forward to Weiland speedway

I have lived in Buffalo Grove since 1986. Thank you Buffalo Grove village trustees (except for Mr. Stein) for selling the community down the river.

My back yard faces Weiland and I am not looking forward to having an expressway there and years of construction. I want a sound wall and that is apparently not in the plan for my side.

The biggest problems in the community are east and west on other roads and not Weiland. Recently during a snowstorm, I saw at least seven cars in ditches. Buffalo Grove cannot even do snow removal for two lanes, let alone four or six.

You grabbed the free money in spite of greater challenges in the community. Did you think about the park and school off of Weiland and the safety issues of the schoolchildren? How about a light at Newtown and Weiland?

In addition, there is no excuse for tearing down seven families’ homes. You can be assured on who I will vote for at the next election for trustees.
