Holidays were bright in Schaumburg Twp.

This past holiday season, the community of Schaumburg Township once again demonstrated how remarkable they truly are. Donors generously delivered food and personal items to keep the pantry shelves, refrigerators and freezers well stocked during our busiest months. Coats, hats, gloves & scarves, purchased and handmade, were also donated.

Substantial financial contributions were received to help keep the pantry in full operation throughout the new year.

Our Adopt-A-Family Program made the holidays a little brighter for almost 500 families, seniors and disabled individuals. To the 108 sponsors who participated in the program, we can’t thank you enough! To all the volunteers who shared their energy, time & talents, we thank you for offering us a helping hand this season.

The collaboration of businesses, schools, libraries, clubs, individuals, families, volunteers and staff allowed us to provide food to over 530 households throughout December. Without the community involvement, this would not be possible. We are grateful to each and every one for their continued support and wish everyone a happy & healthy 2014!
