Wheeling Twp. Democrats hosting healthcare discussion

Giovanni Gomez, regional coordinator with Illinois Health Insurance Marketplace, will be the featured speaker Wednesday night at the Wheeling Township Democrats monthly meeting.

Gomez will discuss the Affordable Care Act including how to enroll, what the benefits are, some key dates to know and other important information, during the event at the Township Democrats Office, 1310 W. Northwest Highway in Arlington Heights. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

“We believe it’s important for citizens to find about the new program from a straightforward source so that’s why we asked Giovanni to speak,” Democratic Committeeman Rob Nesvacil said in a news release. “It’s about letting folks learn facts so they can decide what’s best for their families.”

The Wheeling Township Democrats meet at least once a month, typically on the last Wednesday of the month. Visit wheelingdems.com for more details on this and other activities.
