Four injured in Aurora mobile home fire

Four people were injured Tuesday night in a fire at a mobile home in Aurora.

The Aurora Fire Department responded to the fire on the 40 block of Margarets Lane at 9:10 p.m. on Tuesday night, according to a news release. Upon arrival officials found a mobile home engulfed in flames.

A 56-year-old man suffered second- and third-degree burns and smoke inhalation, a 23-year-old man had second-degree burns and smoke inhalations, a 24-year-old man had numerous lacerations and a 54-year-old woman had minor burns and smoke inhalation, according to the release.

All four victims were transported to Presence Mercy Medical Center in Aurora.

The mobile home and its contents are a total loss valued at $50,000, according to the release.

There were no injuries to firefighters.

It is unknown if there were any smoke detectors in the home at the time of the fire.

Officials said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
