Jury selected for trial of NATO protesters

The jury has been selected for the trial of three activists charged with terrorism after the 2012 NATO summit in Chicago.

Opening statements are scheduled for Tuesday in Cook County court. The three are accused of plotting Molotov cocktail attacks during the summit. Brian Church, Jared Chase and Brent Vincent Betterly have all pleaded not guilty. They are charged with conspiracy to commit terrorism and providing material support for terrorism.

Earlier this week prosecutors dropped two weapons counts and two arson-related counts.
