With a vicious name, the dragon bite cocktail embraces sweetness throughout January at RA Sushi. Made with Bacardi Dragonberry, strawberry purée, fresh lemon juice, Japanese yuzu and a splash of soda, the dragon bite is available for $6 until the end of the month; it’s regularly $8.

Barbakoa’s tequila dinner
Barbakoa pairs tequilas with its Latin bistro eats at a dinner at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22. A reception starts with Don Fulano “Fuerte” margaritas and a tasting flight of Don Fulano Estate Tequilas. Dinner pairings include a hot toddy of Don Fulano Reposado, Pedro Ximenez Sherry and rare tea cellar tequila barrel aged Lapsang souchong; a trio of pineapple-serrano, blood orange, and tomato mole sangrias; and Don Fualno Anejo spiked Mexican hot chocolate, coconut crema and spiced sugar. Eats include pork tinga tostaditas; duck, morita and sweet plantain empanadas; tequila barrel grilled main course. $49 per person, not including tax and gratuity.
