District 214 announces meetings for capital project ideas

Northwest Suburban High School District 214 announced a slate of meetings to solicit community input on future capital projects.

All meetings will be held at the Forest View Educational Center, 2121 S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights.

Meetings will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6, and 6 p.m. on Monday, March 10, to discuss ideas for improvements concerning fine and performing arts. Meetings will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, and 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 24, to discuss improvements concerning athletics. Meetings will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb 20, and 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 13 to discuss improvements concerning academics. Meetings will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, and 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, to discuss improvements concerning operational or other needs.

Each session will feature a brief presentation on the session’s topic, followed by an opportunity for community comment. All sessions are open to the public, and will be attended by members of the district capital projects feasibility task force, as well as members of the citizen and student advisory groups.
