Police warn of burglars:
Lake County sheriff’s police are warning homeowners to protect their property from burglars. The warning followed four reported burglaries in the Ingleside and Lake Villa areas since Nov. 5. Homeowners should lock their doors, make sure mail or garbage doesn’t pile up, keep outside lights on at night and use timers for lights when away from home. Police described a suspect in the burglaries as a white or Hispanic male who appeared to be about 6 feet tall and appeared to weigh between 150 and 170 pounds.
