Winter dodgeball championships in Schaumburg

The National Amateur Dodgeball Association (NADA) and dodgeball enthusiasts will take over the Schaumburg Park District’s Sport Center, 1141 W. Irving Park Road in Schaumburg, during the Winter Nationals Indoor Dodgeball Championships Jan. 3 and 4.

The youth competition for boys and girls in grades 4 to 12 is Jan. 3. Check-in begins at 3:30 p.m. with matches following at 4 p.m. The youth and high school fee is $105 for a team of six to 10 players.

The adult competition for ages 18 and older will be held Jan. 4. Check-in begins at 9 a.m. with matches following at 10 a.m. Men’s, women’s and co-rec divisions are available. The adult fee is $125 for a team of six to 10 players.
