Probation for man who unlawfully videotaped Wheeling woman

A 37-year-old Glenview man pleaded guilty this week to videotaping a woman without her consent, court records show.

Shuujin Vanchig, who Wheeling police say looked into the windows of homes on the 1600 block of Pennsbury Court last August and videotaped a woman without her consent, pleaded guilty to the class four felony Monday, court records show.

In exchange for Vanchig's guilty plea, Cook County Judge Ellen Mandletort sentenced him to 18 months of probation and ordered him to pay $689 in fines. She also ordered Vanchig to have no contact with the woman.
