Naperville traffic crackdown nets arrests

Naperville police say they made numerous arrests and issued even more citations during their “Click It or Ticket” traffic enforcement effort that ran from Nov. 18 to Dec. 1 and was sponsored by the Illinois Department of Transportation.

Police said they apprehended one fugitive and made 10 DUI arrests and two drug-related arrests as part of the crackdown. They also issued 62 speeding tickets and 58 seat-belt citations as part of the push.
