Zebra plans to move to larger HQ in Lincolnshire

Zebra Technologies Corp., which makes radio frequency identification printers and bar codes, has signed a new lease for a larger headquarters at 3 Overlook Point in Lincolnshire, according to sources in a report Wednesday by Crain’s Chicago Business.

Zebra, which has offices in Lincolnshire and Vernon Hills, will combine those operations in a move sometime in 2017, according to sources.

A spokeswoman declined to comment and referred questions to another spokeswoman, who was unavailable.

Founded in 1969, Zebra has about 2,500 employees in offices across 26 countries.
