Missing Schaumburg woman found

A Schaumburg woman who had been missing since October has been located, Schaumburg police said Friday.

A news release issued by Schaumburg police said Beata Candre, 48 at the time of her disappearance, was found Friday in the Chicago area.

Police are continuing the investigation and would release no further details.

Candre went missing along with her black 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee on Oct. 11. At the time, family members were worried she might have been in danger because of an ongoing medical issue.

Schaumburg police Sgt. John Nebl said at the time that Candre had been showing signs of depression and had disappeared for two days in August before alerting police to her presence in the Oriole Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side of Chicago, where she grew up.
