Boomers host free milk and cookies Dec. 20
The Frontier League champion Schaumburg Boomers will hold their third annual free milk and cookies event from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20 at Boomers Stadium, 1999 S. Springinsguth Road in Schaumburg.
Attendees will have the opportunity to take pictures with Santa Claus and team mascot Coop, enjoy some free milk and cookies, and help put the finishing touches on the Boomers Christmas tree.
Attendees should visit the team’s website at boomersbaseball.com to print out the championship ornament template and color it in. Each participant will receive a free ticket to Opening Day 2014.
