Mundelein Police Academy to hold spaghetti dinner fundraiser

The Mundelein Police Academy Alumni Association hosts its fifth annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Friday, Dec. 6, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Mundelein Police Department, 221 North Lake St. The event will immediately follow the tree lighting ceremony at Kracklauer Park. The alumni association assists the police department with many events throughout the year and has donated money to various community events, including the annual “Shop with a Cop.” Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for children 5-12 years of age, and children 4 years and under are free. Tickets can be purchased in advance or the night of the event in the lobby of the police department. Raffle tickets are available for gift certificates to local businesses. There will also be authentic sports memorabilia for sale at the event.
