Floral image of late Indiana boy displayed at church

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — A portrait of a late western Indiana boy that’s made entirely from flowers has been displayed at an Indiana church before it’s added to a float for the New Year’s Day Rose Parade.

The memorial floragraph portrait of Noah Worthington was displayed Sunday at Terre Haute’s Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The Tribune-Star reports Noah was 11 when he died following a May 2011 car crash that also killed his 11-year-old friend, Cale Roberts.

After Noah was declared brain dead, his parents decided to donate his organs and some were transplanted into three children and one adult.

Noah’s floragraph will be part of the Donate Life float during the parade in Pasadena, Calif.
