Grilled Pear, Brie and Walnut Quesadilla

1 whole wheat tortilla (10-inch, 90 calories)

½ Comice pear, cored and thinly sliced

1 ounce brie, thinly sliced

¼teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon chopped walnuts

Heat indoor or outdoor grill for direct cooking. Coat grates with non-stick cooking spray.

Place pear slices on grill and cook for about 3 minutes on each side. Remove pear slices from grill and place onto half of the tortilla.

Next, layer the cheese and walnuts. Sprinkle with cinnamon and fold tortilla in half to before placing back on grill. Flip quesadilla after cheese begins to melt to brown other side. Grill for about 5 minutes on each side.

Remove from grill and serve.

Serves one.

Cook's note: This main dish recipe is so delicious that it tastes like dessert. Cut into wedges and serve it as an appetizer for holiday parties.
