Two more seek re-election to Kane posts

Two more people have filed petitions seeking Republican Party nominations for Kane County offices in March.
County Board member Kurt Kojzarek of Gilberts is seeking re-election to his District 19 post. He filed his papers Tuesday.
Treasurer David Rickert of Elgin filed on Wednesday.
Rickert has been treasurer since 1998.
Kojzarek was elected in 2012.
So far, both are running unopposed in the Republican primary.
Candidates have until 4:30 p.m. Monday to file petitions at the Kane County clerkâs office.
